Allison is the ASCA librarian. She graduated from Marquette University with a BA in Education. Allison taught 1st grade for 6 years at a Catholic School in Chicago. She joined ASCA in 2016.
Megan is teaching Advanced Junior High English. She graduated from Iowa State University and has a Master of Education Degree. Megan has taught for 15 years and is starting her 10th year at ASCA.
Theresa teaches 5th grade at ASCA. She is a graduate of Benedictine University with a BA in Elementary Education. She has 5 years teaching experience in a Catholic School.
Gina is a 4th grade teacher at ASCA. She earned her teaching degree from National Louis University. Her teaching experience includes 5 years as a fourth grade teacher at St. John the Baptist in Winfield, two of which fifth grade math and social studies was also taught, and fifth grade long-term substitute/student teaching assignments. She is thrilled to be part of the 4th grade team at ACSA!.
Laurie teachers 3rd grade at ASCA. Laurie received her BS from Southern Illinois University and her MS in Education (with an emphasis on Differentiated Instruction) from the University of St. Francis. She has taught for 17+ years and was a founding teacher at All Saints.
Margaret teaches 2nd grade at All Saints. Margaret received her BS from the University of Illinois and her MS in Education (with an emphasis on reading and writing) from the University of Southern California. She has more than 16 years of teaching experience in the primary grades.
Justin comes to ASCA after serving as the PE/Health Teacher for 2 years at Chesterbrook Elementary in Naperville. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and another Master’s degree in teaching from the University of Phoenix. During his free time, Mr. Busche enjoys playing golf, volunteering at his parish, spending time with his family, and officiating high school athletics (not in that order). He is extremely excited to be part of the ASCA community!
Marie is our Resource teacher. She has a BA from Loras College and a MA from National College of Education. It is her 9th year at ASCA.
Colleen teaches 2nd grade. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
Mary Carol teaches in the 3 year old preschool program. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a BS in Education and has 30+ years in teaching. She is a founding teacher at ASCA.
Mary teaches 6th grade Science. She has a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, and her Illinois Professional Educator License, with endorsements in middle school education. She completed a Problem Based Learning Design Institute provided by the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in 2014.
Marianne teaches 5h grade. She graduated from Benedictine University with a teaching certificate in Elementary Education. This is her 9th year at ASCA.
Kate teaches 8th grade English at All Saints. She has 12 years teaching experience, all in Catholic education. She has a BA in History & Secondary Education from John Carroll University, and a MA in Curriculum & Instruction from North Central College.
Lisa is teaching in the 4 year old pre-school program. Lisa has been at ASCA for 11 years. She has a degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is a founding teacher at ASCA.
Mr. Gonzalez teaches 6th grade World History and Spanish. He completed his pre-clinical student teaching with All Saints in 2012-2013. Mr. Gonzalez graduated in 2015 from Benedictine University with academic honors.
Debbie teaches in the ASCA Junior High Academy. She teaches Religion and Math. She graduated from Mundelein College/Chicago with a BA. She has more than 10 years of Catholic School teaching experience and joined ASCA in 2006.
Lori teaches full day Kindergarten at ASCA. She has a BA in Elementary Education from Marquette University and a Masters Degree from University of St. Francis in Educational Leadership. As a founding teacher, she is in her 12th year of teaching at ASCA.
Juliana teaches Spanish Enrichment. She has a Masters degree from the University of Valle - Colombia.
Valerie is a 4th grade teacher. She attended Elmhurst College and has a BA in Elementary Education and MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Chicago and has an endorsement for teaching gifted children. She is also endorsed in language arts and social science at the middle school level. This is Valerie’s 10th year teaching. She has taught in several grades, and most recently taught 4th grade. She is excited to be a part of the ASCA community!
Maria teaches Junior High Spanish. She has a BA in Spanish and Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and a Masters Degree from Aurora University. She joined ASCA in 2006.
Jane is a 4th grade teacher at ASCA. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University Chicago. Jane has 14 years of elementary teaching experience and is excited to be a part of the ASCA community!
Rebecca is a Special Education teacher. She has a Bachelors from the University of Illinois.
Kristin teaches 1st grade. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. She taught preschool and Spanish for 2 years in Iowa. This is her 5th year at ASCA.
Kim is teaching 6th grade Science and History. She attended DePaul University for her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Biology Major), Northern Illinois University for a Master of Science Degree, and National-Louis University for her teaching certification. Kim taught at the college level for 2 1/2 years, and worked in the field of science for 5 years. She has also taught high school chemistry and served a science/social studies maternity leave at a middle school in Plainfield. Kim states "I am very pleased and blessed to be at All Saints Catholic Academy my fifth year and quite excited to teach in a Christian environment."
Joe teaches Junior High Literature for 7th grade. He holds a MA from Aurora University. This is his 9th year at ASCA.
Kathy is a Junior High Math and Religion Teacher for ASCA. She has 15 years of teaching experience and a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan.
MaryAnn will teach 1st grade at ASCA and has been teaching in 1st grade for 10+ years. She has a BA in Elementary Education through North Central College and a MA in Curriculum & Instruction through Concordia University. She also earned a MA in Reading & Literacy through Benedictine University and is a certified Reading Specialist.
Susan teaches full day Kindergarten. She has a Masters Degree from West Virginia University. Susan has 25+ years experience in preschool and kindergarten. This is her 10th year at ASCA.
Maria teaches 3rd grade. This is her 9th year at ASCA. She is a University of Iowa graduate with a Bachelors Degree. Maria has 20+ years of experience in education.
Susan teaches Junior High Honors Math. She has a BS from Northern Illinois University. She received both her MBA from Benedictine and a CPA from the state of Illinois in 2001. She has over 26 years of teaching experience and is a founding teacher at ASCA.
Thomas (Music) holds a BA in music performance from Benedictine University where he graduated in 2007. He attended North Central College where he participated in a certificate program to earn his teaching certificate, which he completed in the fall of 2009. For the last year he taught choir at A. Vito Martinez Middle School in Romeoville. On the weekends he is the choir director at his local parish of St. Andrew the Apostle in Romeoville.
Jennifer is part of our 6th grade team. She teaches Literature and English. She holds a BA from Elmhurst College. This is her 9th year at ASCA.
Jacqui is the Math and Reading Resource Teacher at ASCA. She is a Benedictine University graduate with a BA in Elementary Education. Jacqui has a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from North Central College. She joined the ASCA staff in 2006.
Emily teaches 5th grade. This is her 4th year at ASCA. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. This is her 5th year teaching.
Linda teaches the Pre-K Program held at St. Elizabeth Seton. She has a BA from Rosary College, now Dominican University. Linda has over 26 years in public and private education.
Deborah is the ASCA IT Director (Technology), has a Masters from the University of St. Francis, and 30+ years of experience. She is a founding teacher at ASCA.
Rick teaches 6th grade World History, and 7th and 8th grade American History. He joined the staff in 2006 and has a Masters in Teaching Degree from Aurora University.
Julie is the Special Education Coordinator. She has an undergraduate degree from University of Illinois from Chicago in physiology and a graduate degree from North Eastern in Special Education.
Jane is responsible for the ASCA art program. She graduated from the University of St. Francis in Joliet and received a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. She also has an Art endorsement from the College of DuPage and Middle School and Language Arts endorsement form Benedictine.
